Itinerary

Time Activity
6:00 AM – 6:30 AM Pick-up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi. Early departure ensures the best chance to see predators and wildlife when they are most active.
6:45 AM – 10:00 AM Morning Game Drive: Enter Nairobi National Park and enjoy a thrilling game drive across open grass plains, acacia bush, and riverine forest. Spot lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, leopards, and a rich variety of birdlife.
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (Elephant Orphanage): Watch baby elephants being fed and learn about the conservation work that rescues and rehabilitates orphaned elephants. (Open daily 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Lunch Break: Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant or lodge, such as The Emara Ole Sereni, Carnivore Restaurant, or Nairobi Tented Camp (for those inside the park).
2:00 PM – 3:30 PM Giraffe Centre Visit: Interact with the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes, learn about conservation, and even feed them from the raised platform.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Kazuri Beads / Karen Blixen Museum (Optional): Visit the Kazuri Beads Factory to see handcrafted jewelry made by local women, or explore Karen Blixen Museum, the home of the “Out of Africa” author.
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM Drop-off back at your hotel, marking the end of a truly fulfilling day combining wildlife, culture, and conservation.
