6-Day Samburu, Naivasha & Masai Mara Safari Adventure

Enjoy an early breakfast followed by a full-day game drive in this dramatic reserve. Explore the Ewaso Nyiro River — the lifeline of Samburu — where elephants and predators gather. Keep an eye out for leopards lounging on acacia trees and an impressive array of birdlife, including Kingfishers, sunbirds, and palm-nut vultures.

After breakfast, depart Samburu with a scenic drive south toward the Great Rift Valley. Stop in Nanyuki for lunch before continuing to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake famous for its birdlife and hippos. In the evening, relax at your lodge or take an optional boat ride to spot hippos and watch the sunset.

After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for an optional cycling or hiking experience among dramatic cliffs and geothermal activity. Later, proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most iconic safari destination. Arrive in time for lunch followed by your first game drive in the Mara, home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and, during migration season (July–October), millions of wildebeest.

Spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara. Enjoy picnic lunch near the Mara River, the dramatic crossing point of the Great Migration. Expect to encounter the Big Five and witness the incredible predator-prey interactions that make the Mara world-famous. Later in the afternoon, visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditions and way of life.

Enjoy an early morning game drive as you search for predators on the hunt. Return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin your journey back to Nairobi. You’ll arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.
