Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the responsibilities and policies of Alipsa Ventures in providing travel and related services. By confirming a booking, clients acknowledge that they have read and agreed to these terms in full.

1. Independent Suppliers

Alipsa Ventures works with carefully selected, licensed service providers such as hotels, transport companies, and excursion operators. While we strive to maintain high standards and compliance with all local regulations, these suppliers operate independently. Alipsa Ventures therefore cannot accept liability for any act, omission, or default of a third party beyond our reasonable control.

2. Tour Operations and Itinerary Changes

Every effort is made to ensure that tours operate as planned. However, changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or availability of services. Alipsa Ventures reserves the right to modify routes, accommodations, or activities when necessary in the best interest of the client’s safety and experience.

3. Reservations and Payments

All reservations must be made in writing. A deposit of 15% of the total package cost is required to secure a booking made more than 90 days before departure. The balance is due eight weeks prior to the travel date. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and are subject to the following charges based on notice before departure:

  • More than 90 days – 10% of total cost
  • 90–45 days – 35% of total cost
  • 45–29 days – 50% of total cost
  • 30–15 days – 70% of total cost
  • Less than 15 days – 100% of total cost

Refunds for unused services, no-shows, or early departures will not be issued. Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal property.

5. Liability and Force Majeure

Alipsa Ventures shall not be held responsible for any delays, loss, damage, or injury arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, flight delays, pandemics, or government restrictions. In such instances, Alipsa Ventures reserves the right to cancel or amend arrangements without prior notice.

6. Health, Insurance, and Travel Documents

Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that their passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and any other travel documents are valid and up-to-date. Comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering accidents, loss, and cancellation is mandatory. Alipsa Ventures shall not be liable for any costs arising from failure to obtain the necessary documents or insurance.

7. Luggage and Personal Effects

Baggage and personal effects are transported at the owner’s risk. Weight restrictions may apply on certain domestic flights and vehicles. Alipsa Ventures accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage or personal property, and clients are advised to secure adequate insurance coverage.

8. Prices and Currency

All rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless stated otherwise and are subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in exchange rates, increases in government taxes, park fees, or fuel prices. Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of travel.

9. Governing Law

The relationship between Alipsa Ventures and its clients shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
