6-Day Dubai City & Desert Holiday from Nairobi

6 days Dubai International Holiday
The experience

About this package

Dubai city views, Arabian desert and Marina nights

Trade an ordinary city break for six days of skylines, desert scenery and waterfront evenings. Alipsa Ventures can tailor a Dubai holiday from Nairobi for couples, families, solo travellers and friends who want an organised base with time left for personal discoveries. The planned experience combines five nights in Dubai with scheduled sightseeing, a desert safari and a dinner cruise.

This itinerary takes inspiration from a 9–14 December 2026 outbound travel offer, but it is an Alipsa Ventures enquiry-based holiday proposal, not a confirmed departure or a resale of another company’s seats. Flight seats, hotel contracts, visa processing arrangements and Alipsa’s final selling rates will be checked before a quotation is accepted.

Choose between value-focused, mid-range and upscale hotel options according to your travel style. A Dubai city tour introduces the city’s best-known landmarks, a guided evening in the desert offers a different perspective, and a dhow cruise creates an opportunity to see the Dubai Marina skyline after dark.

Suggested travel dates: 9 to 14 December 2026. Duration: six calendar days and five hotel nights, subject to actual flight schedules and ticket times. Departure: Nairobi, Kenya. Destination: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; flights may operate into Dubai or Sharjah.

  • Check that every traveller has a passport valid for at least six months from entry and confirm any additional passport, photo, residency or child-travel document rules applicable to their nationality.

  • A hotel security deposit, if collected, is subject to the property’s release and refund conditions.
  • All desert driving and outdoor activities depend on operator safety restrictions, prevailing weather and participant suitability.
  • Travellers should follow local customs and venue dress requirements and obtain appropriate medical or travel insurance before departure.

Day by day

Your itinerary

Day 1Day 1: Nairobi departure, UAE arrival and hotel check-in

Begin your international break at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where you check in for the airline and flight timing shown on your confirmed travel documents. The arrival airport may be Dubai International Airport or Sharjah International Airport, depending on the airline selected. Complete immigration and baggage collection after arrival. Meet the local transfer representative at the assigned meeting point and travel to your Dubai hotel. Once checked in, settle into your room, review the excursion pick-up information and use the rest of the day at your own pace. You may take a gentle neighbourhood walk, relax after the flight or have an independent evening meal at a nearby restaurant. The hotel room is booked for the first of five nights, subject to your confirmed arrival and check-in arrangements. Meals: according to airline service; hotel meals on Day 1 are not guaranteed unless stated in the confirmation.

Day 2Day 2: Discover old and modern Dubai on a city tour

After breakfast, join the scheduled half-day sightseeing experience. The route is designed to introduce Dubai through a mix of contemporary architecture and older neighbourhoods, with photo opportunities or drive-past views depending on traffic and the operator schedule. Possible highlights include Sheikh Zayed Road, the Jumeirah area, the exterior of Burj Al Arab and other recognised landmarks. Your guide or driver will explain the daily route and advise where short stops are permitted. Return to the hotel later in the day. Keep the afternoon free to explore independently, discover local cuisine or browse one of Dubai’s shopping districts. Entry tickets to paid attractions, and visits not listed in the confirmed city-tour programme, are not included. Overnight in Dubai. Meals: breakfast.

Day 3Day 3: Arabian desert safari and barbecue dinner

Enjoy breakfast followed by a leisurely morning. In the afternoon, meet your scheduled shared safari transfer and travel beyond the city to the desert. Subject to operational and weather conditions, the programme features supervised dune driving in a suitable 4x4 vehicle, pauses for photographs and time at a desert camp. At the camp, guests may be offered a programme of cultural entertainment and activities; the exact entertainment, short camel-ride availability or sandboarding provision depends on the final operator. Dinner is a barbecue-style buffet with specified refreshments as part of the booked safari package. The dune-driving section can be unsuitable for some guests, including people with certain medical conditions, so any restrictions or preferred gentler option should be raised before booking. Return to the hotel after the evening programme. Overnight in Dubai. Meals: breakfast and desert-camp BBQ dinner.

Day 4Day 4: Leisure time and Dubai Marina dhow dinner cruise

Breakfast is served at the hotel, after which you have a free morning and early afternoon. You may choose independent shopping, a café visit or relaxation at the hotel. If you prefer an additional paid experience, request information about the Burj Khalifa observation decks, Dubai Frame or Museum of the Future. These optional attractions require separate tickets and advance availability checks. In the evening, take the scheduled transfer to Dubai Marina and board a traditional-style dhow for a sightseeing dinner cruise. Watch the illuminated buildings and waterfront from the vessel while enjoying the included dinner buffet. The actual sailing route, departure time, duration, table placement and upper-deck access depend on the cruise operator and conditions. After the cruise, return to your accommodation. Overnight in Dubai. Meals: breakfast and dhow cruise dinner.

Day 5Day 5: Dubai at your own pace — shopping or optional experiences

Today is deliberately unhurried, giving you the flexibility to design your own final full day. Begin with breakfast and then explore the parts of Dubai that interest you most. Shopping enthusiasts may spend time at the Dubai Mall or seek traditional souvenirs in suitable market areas. Families may prefer indoor activities, while couples may wish to add a special restaurant or waterfront outing. Optional attractions such as the Burj Khalifa viewing levels, Miracle Garden (seasonal) or other paid experiences must be requested and paid for separately. Transport for the independent day is not included unless you have arranged a driver with Alipsa Ventures. Review your flight check-in instructions and the next day’s transfer schedule before returning to your hotel for the final night. Meals: breakfast.

Day 6Day 6: Hotel check-out and return journey to Nairobi

Have breakfast and complete any final packing or checkout requirements. Settle the hotel Tourism Dirham charge, refundable security deposit accounting and any personal hotel bill directly with the property where applicable. Meet your confirmed transfer at the advised time for the journey to the relevant departure airport, either Dubai or Sharjah, according to your flight arrangement. Allow sufficient time for airline check-in, immigration and baggage procedures. Fly back to Nairobi on your confirmed economy-class service. Flight times and arrival day must be checked in the final tickets, and any extra room time or services beyond checkout are not automatically included. Meals: breakfast subject to departure and hotel service hours.
